callsign VU3OPT. From 15 August to 1 September he was active as

9N7GA from Nepal, and from 2 September until 13 October he will be

CY0 – Team CY0S has announced that 19-30 March are the official dates for

their 2026 DXpedition to Sable Island (NA-063) [425DXN 1778]. “As

we have done in the past, we will personally transport all of the

gear to Halifax, Nova Scotia shortly before the DXpedition”, they

say. “We have been informed by Sable Aviation that the cost of the

flights to the island have significantly increased since 2023. Fund

raising has now officially begun for the CY0S DXpedition”. See

E4 – Team E44OM has been active from Bethlehem, Palestine since 13 Sep-

tember, and is expected to remain there until 22 September. QSL via

ES – Celebrating the 90th anniversary of the Estonian Radio Amateurs

Union (ERAU), special event callsign ES90ERAU will be active on all

bands and modes on 20-30 September. QSL via LoTW, eQSL and QRZ Log-

F – Members of Radio Club F4KLW will be active as F4KLW/p from Re

Island (EU-032) on 25-29 September. They will operate SSB, CW and

digital modes on various bands with three stations. QSL via F4FTV

and LoTW.

F – Special callsign TM46CDXC will be active from 27 September to 11

October for the 46th annual Convention of the Clipperton DX Club

(https://cdxc.org/), to be held at Saint-Antonin-sur-Bayon on 10-12

October. QSL via operator’s instructions.

GM – Members of the Guisborough and District Amateur Radio Club will be

active as MS0NYM from the Isle of Lewis (EU-010, WWL IO68vf) on 21-

28 September. They will operate SSB, CW and FT8 on 80-10 metres.

QSL direct to G0UOK; QSOs will be uploaded to LoTW, Club Log, and

QRZ.

JD1_oga– Look for JQ3JUK/JD1 to be QRV from Chichijima (AS-031), Ogasawara

from 28 September to 1 October. He will operate FT8 using MSHV on

160-6 metres. QSL via LoTW and eQSL (preferred), Club Log’s OQRS,

or via home call.

JD1_mt – Take, JG8NQJ has been back to the weather station on Minami Tori-

shima (OC-073) since 18 September, and will remain there until

December, his QSL manager reports. Take is QRV as JG8NQJ/JD1 in his

limited spare time. He operates CW and some FT8 (please note that

he wants you to call with your signal report, not your grid

square). QSL via JA8CJY (direct), JG8NQJ (bureau) and LoTW.

LU – Look for Hoc, LU5BE/GA and Enrique, LU8EFF/GA to be active from

Puerto Tirol (WWL GG02lo), in the Argentinian province of Chaco,

between 16 and 22 September. They will operate SSB, CW and digital

OZ – Dieter, DF2SD is active holiday style as OV9R from Fano Island (EU-

125) and Nature Park Vadehavet until 2 October. QSL via Club Log’s

OQRS (preferred), LoTW and eQSL.

OZ – Jan-Willem PA7JWC (5Q7DX), Maarten PD2R (OV2T) and Sven PA1SVM (OZ/

PA1SVM) are active from Saeby, Vendsyssel-Thy (EU-171) until 24

September. They operate CW, SSB and FT8 on 160-2 metres, as well as

via satellite (RS-44 and QO-100). QSL 5Q7DX via LoTW (preferred),

or via PA7JWC; QSL OV2T via LoTW (preferred), or via PA0ABM.

S7 – Kasimir, DL2SBY will be active as S79/DL2SBY from the Seychelles

from 28 September to 12 October. He will be QRV on the HF bands

with verticals and an inverted vee, and on 6 metres with 5-element

yagi. QSL via LoTW, or direct to home call. QSOs will be uploaded

also to Club Log.

T32 – Darren, VK4MAP has been active as T32K from Kiritimati Atoll (OC-

024) Eastern Kiribati since 17 September, and will remain there for

a couple of weeks. He operates SSB on 80, 40, 20, 15, 12, and 10

metres. He will also be QRV as T32K/p while operating from one of

the atoll’s islets (e.g. Cook). QSL direct to VK4MAP.

VE – Mike, VE2XB now plans to be active as VY0ZOO from Qikiqtarjuaq on

Broughton Island (NA-130) on 19-21 September. In his spare time he

will be QRV on 40-10 metres SSB and CW (look for him around 7032,

10132, 14032 and 28032 kHz). QSL direct to home call.

VE – Len, VE9MY and Linda, VE9GLF will be active from Ile Madame, La

Madeleine Islands (NA-038, VE2) on 23-29 September. They will oper-

ate SSB on 40-10 metres mainly during their daytime hours (13.00-

20.00 UTC)

VQ9 – Larry, KI6LT has been “licensed as a reciprocal agreement” and in

his spare time will be active as KI6LT/VQ9 from Diego Garcia (AF-

006), Chagos Islands on 18-21 September.

VU – AT2AH is the callsign issued to the DXpedition to Hope Island (AS-

178, new one for IOTA), which is scheduled to take place between 27

September and 2 October [425DXN 1787]. Consequently, the dedicated

website has been renamed: https://at2ah.weebly.com.

EQUATORIAL GUINEA —> Last week, the Government of Equatorial Guinea tem-

porarily suspended all amateur radio licenses. This decision follows the

revelation of a case involving a foreign amateur radio operator who gained

access to sensitive areas with unauthorized equipment. The authorities are

committed to establishing a new regulatory framework that guarantees effec-

tive control over the use of telecommunications frequencies and equipment,

in accordance with national security requirements. The information was re-
