3B9    – Kazu, M0CFW will be active as 3B9/M0CFW from  Rodrigues Island (AF-
017) on  21-29 October.  He will  participate  in the  CQ WW DX SSB

7Q     – Look for 7Q1A to be active from  Lilongwe, Malawi on  18-24 October
(CW and digital modes), and during the CQ WW DX SSB Contest with at
least  two stations.  The team  (7Q7CT, 7Q6M, 7Q5MLV, 7Q7EB, 7Q7JN,
7Q6UJ, 7Q8AC, and 7Q8P) “brings together the experience of veterans
and the fresh energy of a new generation, who are the future of our

7P     – Wolfgang, HB9CCS  will be active in his  spare time as  7P8EA  from
Thaba-Tseka, Lesotho on 3-27 November. He plans to be QRV daily be-
tween 16.00 and 19.00 UTC on or around 21223 kHz (SSB) or 21050 kHz
(CW). He might also be active  on 17, 12 or 10 metres.  QSL via QRZ

C5     – Luc, F5RAV as C5LT  and Lui, YT3PL/YU5R as C5R will be active again
from  the Gambia  between  18 October  and  7 November.  They  will
operate CW, SSB and FT8/FT4 on various bands,  and will participate
in the CQ WW DX SSB Contest as C5R.  QSL C5LT direct to F5RAV;  QSL
direct to YU5R.  Luc and Lui are carrying on a humanitarian project
to raise funds  for the construction of new classrooms for children

CE     – Felipe, XQ7IR – and  maybe  one  or  two  other operators – will be
active as 3G5SM from  Isla Santa Maria (SA-070) on  11-15 November.
The operation  will also serve  as a trial run  of  the equipment –
including a remote station – to  be used during Felipe’s  announced
DXpedition to San Ambrosio in January 2026 [425DXN 1795].  Look for

CP     – Members of the  Yaguarete DX Group  (LU1FM, LU1HF,  LU3FR,  LU5HPM,
LU6FOV, LU6HGH and LU9FHF)  will be active  as  CP7DX  from Tarija,
Bolivia from 31 October to 10 November.  They will operate SSB  and
FT8 on 160-6 metres,  as well as via EME.  QSL via Club Log’s OQRS,

E6     – The Rebel DX Group has been active as E6AD from Niue (OC-040) since
7 October. This is a 2-man activity: “digital is a priority”,  they
say, “some CW and SSB will be done from time to time”. QSL via Club

F      – Michel, F8GGZ will be active as  TM80UCO  on  12-19 October for the
80th anniversary of UNESCO, the UN Educational, Scientific and Cul-
tural Organization that promotes cooperation in education, science,
culture and communication.  He will operate  SSB and CW  on 80-10m.

FJ     – G3NKC, G4CLA, GW4XUM and M5RIC will be active as  FJ/homecall  from
St. Barthelemy (NA-146) before the CQ WW DX SSB Contest. During the
contest (25-26 October) they will use TO4K (QSL via LoTW; QSOs will
be uploaded also to Club Log).


HB9    – Celebrating the  70th anniversary of their organization, members of
the  International Police Association’s Swiss branch (HB9IPA)  will
be active as HB70IPA between  1 November and 31 December.  Activity
will be on various HF bands and the QO-100 satellite. QSL via LoTW
and eQSL, paper cards will not be provided.


HK0    – Team 5K0UA (HK1T, HJ1YL, K2BB and UU0JR, plus possibly US7UX, VA2WA
and WB2AA) will be active from  San Andres Island (NA-033)  between
15 October  and 3 November.  They will operate  CW, SSB and FT8  on
160-10 metres,  and will participate  in the  CQ WW DX SSB Contest.

HP     – Alex, F4GHS will be active  as HP3/F4GHS  from  Hermosa Bay  in the
Chiriqui Province of Panama on 9-17 October.  He will be QRV mainly
on 20 metres SSB.  QSL via home call (direct);  he does not use “e-
mail, eQSL, LoTW, or similar services”.


J7     – Gil, FM5FJ will be active as J79FJ from Dominica (NA-101) on  20-29
October. He will operate CW, SSB “and maybe FT8”, and will partici-
pate in the CQ WW DX SSB Contest with the J75A team.  QSL J79FJ via
KU9C;  QSL J75A via LoTW, Club Log’s OQRS, or direct to G5RC.


ON     – The ONZ Oostkust Radioclub (ON6HC)  will be active on all bands and
modes as  OR81C between  15 October and 14 November  to commemorate
the  81st anniversary  of the liberation  of the region of  Knokke-
Heist by Canadian troops in 1944. QSL via eQSL.  A certificate will

P4     – John, W2GD will be active again as P40W from Aruba (SA-036) on  20-
27 October.  Main activity will be during the CQ WW DX SSB Contest;
outside the contest  he will be QRV  on 30, 17 and 12 metres CW  as

PA     – Volker, DL1WH will be active holiday style as  PA/DL1WH  from Texel
Island (EU-038) on  11-24 October.  He will operate mainly CW, with
some SSB. QSL via home call, direct or bureau. [TNX DX Newsletter]


PY     – PX100IARU is the  special callsign  issued to the  Liga de Amadores
Brasileiros de Radio Emissao (LABRE)  which is hosting the IARU Re-
gion 2 General Assembly. Look for activity on “all bands, all modes
and satellite” until 12 October. QSL via LoTW; paper cards will not
be available,  but  a certificate  can be requested  by  contacting
awa…@labre.org.br with the QSO details.


S2     – Team S21SDX  will be active  from deep inside the  Sundarbans,  the
largest  mangrove forest  in the world and a  UNESCO World Heritage
Site,  on  13-15 November.  Organized  by the  Amateur  Radio  Club
Khulna,  the event will be  led and managed by young operators, in-
cluding S21ACP, S21CMD, S21AKL, and S21SRK.  They will operate  SSB
and FT8  on  40, 20, 17, 15, 12 and 10 metres.  QSL via I8KHC;  all
QSOs will be uploaded to LoTW and Club Log. More information is ex-

VE     – Mike, VE2XB will be active as VY0ZOO from Dorset Island (NA-156) on
10-12 October.  He will operate  CW and  SSB on  40-10 metres.  QSL

VP2M   – Corey  KB4YPN  (VP2MPN, QSL via  home call and LoTW),  Ralf  DL9DRA
(VP2MRL),  Irina DL8DYL (VP2MYL), and  Stan K4SBZ  (VP2MZZ, QSL via
LoTW only) will be active  on various bands from  Gingerbread Hill,
Montserrat (NA-103) on 22-28 October.  Franco VP2MAA will join them
to participate in the CQ WW SSB Contest as VP2MPN.


VP8    – Hackl, DL7HW  will be active as  VP8THW  from the  Falkland Islands
(SA-002) on 1-21 November.  He will operate SSB,  VarAC and FT8  on
various bands from  the capital city of Stanley,  from Saunders Is-
land and during a trip around East Falkland.  QSL via LoTW,  or via
the bureau to home call.


ZL7    – Stan, LZ1GC  will be active as  ZL7/LZ1GC  from the Chatham Islands
(OC-038) on 3-20 November.  He will operate CW, SSB and FT8/FT4  on
160-10 metres  with  two working stations,  on different bands  and
modes  (one on digital modes  and  another one on CW/SSB).  QSL via

PACIFIC TOUR —> Rudi, DK7PE (AH0G) will be active from  Guam (KH2),  Palau
(T8), Micronesia (V6), and the Marshall Islands (V7)  between 25 October and
19 November. He will operate CW only with 100 watts  and wire antennas.  “It
will be  a mixture of DXpedition,  antenna experimenting  and  meeting local
radio amateurs”, he says. Details will be posted to https://www.rooody.de/.

WET SQUARES —>  Sergey R9OOF  (8Q7OS/mm),  Mariya UB9OGC  (8Q7MD/mm),  and
Dmitry UB9OFY (8Q7DD/mm)  will be active  between  26 October and 2 November
from  “wet squares”  during a diving safari in the seas around the Maldives.
They will operate SSB on 20, 17, 15 and 10 metres starting  around 12-13 UTC
