5V – Vasily, RA1ZZ and Vlad, R9LR will be active as 5V7RU from Togo on
5-17 November. They will operate CW, SSB and FT8 on the HF bands,
with a focus on 160 and 80 metres, and via QO-100. QSL via Club

A “trip to Benin and short activity on SAT QO-100 as TY0RU” is
planned for 19 November.

5X – Anders, SM0HPL plans to be active again as 5X7W from Uganda from 14
November to 8 December. He will operate QRP on 80-10 metres CW and

CE – Team 3G5SM (Manu CE3MYR, Moises CE3VTZ and Felipe XQ7IR) might be
QRV from Isla Santa Maria (SA-070) [425DXN 1798] as early as around
20 UTC on 9 November. Only contacts made with the on-site operators
will be accepted for IOTA credit. Any CW and FT8 QSOs made between
00:01 UTC on 13 November and 23:59 UTC on 14 November will be car-
ried out remotely, and will not count towards IOTA credit. QSL via

CN – Yannick, F6FYD will be active again as CN2YD from Marrakech, Moroc-
co from 11 November to 31 March 2026. He will operate SSB on 20-10

FS – Team TO9W (K9EL, K9KE, N9LQ, W9AP and W9MR) will be active again
from Saint Martin (NA-105) from 30 November to 12 December. They
will operate CW, SSB and FT8/FT4 on 160-6 metres with three sta-

HK – Renato, PY8WW reports that his application for the special callsign
5J4W has been “officially denied” by the Colombian authorities.
Therefore, his operation from Isla Playa Blanca (SA-084) “has been
authorized only under the portable callsign HK4/PY8WW, in accor-
dance with Colombian regulations”, he says. The activity will take
place on 12-17 November, on 80-10 metres SSB, CW and digital modes.

HK0 – Team 5J0EA (namely EA7ATX, EA7BF, EA7FPG and EA7JW) will be active
from San Andres Island (NA-033) on 21-30 November. They will oper-
ate CW, SSB and FT8 on 160-10 metres. QSOs will be uploaded to Club

I – Celebrating 130 years of Radio, IY0GA (Sardinia), IY0MMR, IY0ORP,
IY1MR, IY1SM, IY1TO, IY4FGM, IY5PIS, and IY7M will be active on 8
November. These stations are affiliated to the “Coordinamento Sta-
zioni Marconiane Italiane”, which gathers amateur radio stations
operating from historic Marconi sites located in Italy.

LZ – Look for LZ/HA8LLH and LZ/YO5OED to be active from Sveta Anastasiya
Island (EU-181) on 6-10 November. They will operate CW and SSB on
30, 20, 17 and 15 metres. QSL via home calls. [TNX DX World]

P4 – John, W2GD will be active again as P44W from Aruba (SA-036) from 24
November to 1 December, including an entry in the CQ WW DX CW Con-
test. Outside the contest he will operate CW on 30, 17 and 12 me-

S7 – Vaclav, OK6RA will be active as S79/OK6RA from the Seychelles be-
tween 17 November and 2 December. He will be on Mahe Island on 17-
24 November, and then on Praslin Island until 2 December. Both
counts for IOTA group AF-024. He will operate mainly CW on 40, 30,
20, 15 and 10 metres, and will participate in the CQ WW DX CW Con-

SP – HF4SES is a special callsign that will be in use from 31 October to
31 December to mark the launch of RadioAwards.club, a “platform
designed for organizing and managing ham radio award events world-

T8 – Bob, W7YAQ and Al, K7AR will be active as T88AR from Choll, (Babel-
daob Island, OC-009), Palau from 22 November to 1 December, includ-
ing an entry in the CQ WW DX CW Contest. They will operate CW and
FT8 on 160-6 metres. QSL via LoTW, Club Log’s OQRS, or via K7AR.

VE – Pierre, VK3KTB will be active again as VY0ERC from the Eureka
Amateur Radio Club station on Ellesmere Island (NA-008) between 15
November and 10 December. He operates SSB, CW and FT8 on various
bands when time permits. QSL via M0OXO’s OQRS and LoTW.

VU – Datta, VU2DSI will be active once again as AU2JCB from 21 November
to 15 December to commemorate the birthdate (30 November 1858) of
Indian physicist and radio pioneer Jagadish Chandra Bose. He will
operate SSB on 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10 metres, and FM on 50800, 51500
and 29700 kHz. QSL direct to home call.

YB – The ORARI branch of Tangerang Selatan (YH1RI) will operate special
callsigns 8G17T, 8G17A, 8G17N, 8G17G, 8G17S, 8G17E and 8G17L on 22-
30 November to celebrate the 17th anniversary of the city of South
Tangerang (part of the Greater Jakarta metropolitan area, Java Is-
land). Look for activity on 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10m SSB, CW, FT8 and
RTTY. Paper QSLs will not be issued; eQSLs and certificates will be
available on https://award.oraritangsel.or.id.

ZF – Joel, NF3R will be active holiday style as ZF2RJ from the Cayman
Islands (NA-016) on 10-17 November. He will operate SSB and the FT
modes on 80-6 metres. QSOs will be uploaded to LoTW and Club Log.

ZS – Neil, M0NJH will be operating portable from SOTA summits in various
South African regions (provinces) during November: ZS6/M0NJH from
Gauteng and North West, ZS5/M0NJH from KwaZulu-Natal, and ZS1/M0NJH

YASME FOUNDATION GRANT —> The Yasme Foundation has announced a grant in
support of Empowering Youth in Amateur Radio through primary school science
clubs in Lilongwe (Malawi) managed by youth operator Elayi Banda, 7Q7EB. The
grant provides funding for material to build antennas, test instruments, and
