CE0Y - Ben DL6FBL,  Win DK9IP  and Lutz DM6EE will be active from  
Easter Island (SA-001)  from  18 April to 6 May.  They had requested 
CD0Y, but,  "due to some  local incompatibilities  in Chile,  we 
probably have to change our callsign", they say.  Updates will be 
posted  to https://www.qrz.com/db/CD0Y.  They will operate SSB, FT8 
and CW  on 160-6 metres.  On FT8 they will be using MSHV software 
("stay above 1000 Hz when calling/working us").  QSL via  Club Log's 
OQRS  (pre-ferred), or via DJ4MX.  Plans are to enable  Club Log's 
Live Stream feature.

HB9 - Celebrating the 150th anniversary of the birth of  Guglielmo 
Marco-ni, members of  the USKA's Valais/Wallis Section  will be active 
as HB150GM between April and December. QSL via the bureau to HB9Y.

HR - John, AD8J  has been active holiday style as  HR9/AD8J  from 
Roatan Island (NA-057)  since 6 April,  and he will remain there  
until 28 April.  He operates CW, FT4, FT8 and maybe SSB  on 80-6 metres.

I - Celebrating the 150th anniversary of the birth of  Guglielmo Marco-
ni, members of ARI Montegrappa (IQ3RP) will be active as II3GM from
15 April to 15 May. QSL via operator's instructions.

I - Celebrating the 150th anniversary of the birth of  Guglielmo Marco-
ni, special station  II5OX  will be active  on 20 April  (7-15 UTC)
from the Ximenian Observatory in Florence.  A radiotelegraphic sta-
tion,  which was visited by Marconi,  was set up at the observatory
as early as 1912. QSL via IW5DPF, direct or bureau.

I - Claudio, IU6RVC and  Marcello, IW6PLZ will be active as  IL7/IU6RVC
and IL7/IW6PLZ from San Domino Island (EU-050) on 19-21 April. QSLs
direct to IU6RVC.

JW - Kaare, LA8EKA will be active as JW8EKA from the  Svalbard Amatorra-
dioklubb in Longyearbyen (EU-026) on  18-21 April.  He will operate
SSB and digital modes  (FT8, PSK31, RTTY) on 80-10m.  QSL direct to
home call.

KH0 - Look for  KH0/JA6REX,  KH0/W6HZH  home call JH6HZH) and  WH0B 
(home call JA6VQA) to be active from Saipan (OC-086),  Mariana Islands 
on 25-30 April. They will operate FT8/FT4 with some CW and SSB on 160-
6 metres. Cards for KH0/W6HZH and KH0/JA6REX will not be available,
but they will upload their logs to  LoTW, Club Log  and  eQSL;  QSL
WH0B via LoTW, eQSL or direct to JA6VQA. [TNX JA6VQA]

KH9 - Tom, NL7RR will be back to Wake Island (OC-053) from 15 April 
to 15 May. Look for KH9/NL7RR to be QRV daily at about 7 UTC on or 
around 14200 kHz. QSL via LoTW, or direct to home call;  QSOs will

OJ0 - Bjorn LA1UW, Tor LA3WAA, Kristoffer LB0VG, and Stian LB5SH  
will be active from Market Reef (EU-053) from 27 April to 4 May.  
OJ0T will be their  main callsign,  but they  will also use  OJ0/LA1UW,  
OJ0/LA3WAA,  OJ0/LB0VG  and  OJ0/LB5SH  from  time to time.  They  will
Operate  SSB, CW and FT8 on 160-6 metres  with up to four stations.

ON - OT2024EPIC is the  special callsign  for  the  Antwerp Port 
Contest Club (ON8APC)  to promote  the seventh edition of the  
Antwerp Port Epic cycling race.  Look for activity between  19 
April and  19 May (the actual day the race will be held on).

OZ - Dieter, DF2SD will be active as OV9R from  Fano Island (EU-125)  
on 13-14 April for the IG-RY WW RTTY Contest. QSL via LoTW, eQSL,

OZ - A team  of seven  Belgian  operators  (ON1BN, ON4AWT, ON6EF, 
ON6VJ, ON7TA, ON7VM and ON9DJ) will be active as 5P5LI from Lolland 
Island (EU-029) from  29 April to 6 May.  They will operate  SSB,  
CW  and digital modes on 160-6 metres. QSL via ON6EF, direct or bureau.

TT8 - Six operators of the  Italian DXpedition Team  (Franco I1FQH, 
Alfeo I1HJT, Tony I2PJA, Silvano I2YSB, Angelo IK2CKR and Stefano 
IK2HKT)will be active as TT8RR (SSB, CW and RTTY),  TT8XX (FT8)  and 
TT8TT (callsign for QSOs via QO-100) from Chad on 17-30 April.  They 
will run four stations on 80-6 metres,  plus  one station  dedicated  
to satellite.  Operations will start on FT8  (F/H at first, and normal
mode  on  standard frequencies  when the pileup  decreases),  other
modes  will follow.  The  hottest period  of  the  year  approaches
(temperatures  expected to reach  43 degrees Celsius  in the shade)
and the team has already taken measures  by procuring an additional
backup power generator,  as the  on-site generator will not be able

V6 - Kevin, N4DVR will be active as V6DVR from Chuuk (OC-011),  
Micronesia on 12-20 April.  He will operate  SSB on 20-10 metres.

VE - Radio Amateurs of Canada is once again holding a "Get on the 
Air on World Amateur Radio Day" special event  in which  it encourages  
as many amateurs as possible to contact as many RAC stations as possi-
ble.  Operating across Canada from  00.00 UTC  to 23.59 UTC  on  18
April, the RAC  official stations will be  VA2RAC, VA3RAC,  VE1RAC,
VE4RAC,  VE5RAC, VE6RAC,  VE7RAC, VE8RAC,  VE9RAC, VO1RAC,  VO2RAC,
VY0RAC, VY1RAC and  VY2RAC.  QSL via LoTW or via the bureau.  Those
contacting one or more RAC stations, on any band and mode,  will be
eligible for a certificate: https://www.rac.ca/certificates/.

3Y0K: BOUVET ISLAND 2025 --->  "Donations have been  temporarily  suspended.
Unfortunately, the financial risk for the small team is too high and we will
spend the next few weeks in April to assess the situation and decide what to
do. We will explore all possible options and  will return with more informa-
tion once  we have reached a conclusion.  We will not  collect donations  in
this period".

CASS AWARDS ---> The Cass Awards honour the wisdom and spirit of Cass WA6AUD
(SK), and encourage DXpeditions to maximize the number of  DXers worked with
a Plaque for the single-operator DXpedition that works the most unique call-
signs during a 2-week interval,  and a Plaque for the "unlimited" DXPedition
that works the most unique callsigns during a 4-week interval, with no limit
on the number of operators of the activity.
Dmitry "Dima" Zhikharev, RA9USU has won the  2023 Single-Operator Cass Award
by working 13,784 unique callsigns (a new record) during his 7O73T operation
from Socotra Island in Yemen.
The 9X5RU team (Slav Rodin OK8AU,  Nick Tolkunov R5EC,  Vasily Pinchuk R7AL,
Mike Alekseev RU3UR, Leo Berezhnoy RW9JZ and Victor Filimonov UA3QLC) worked
40,959 unique callsigns from Rwanda,  setting a new record  to win the  2023
Unlimited Cass Award.

CQ DX MARATHON ---> The  CQ  DX  Marathon  is  a  year-long  DX  hunt,  with
participants competing to see who can work the greatest number of  countries
("entities") and CQ zones during the calendar year. Complete results of  the

N5J: JARVIS ISLAND 2024 ---> "It  is  84 days  to our departure  for  Jarvis
Island from American Samoa", AA7JV  posted to the  DXpedition's website on 7
April. "We are busy building and testing equipment. In addition to the RIBs,
a lot of our gear is built by us, specifically designed for remote operation
where reliability is key.
We have finalized the station configuration.  We will have  six stations  on
the island.  Four of the stations are set up to be remotely operated and two
will be locally operated, although we do have the flexibility to operate any
station locally (from the boat)  or remotely via Starlink and the Internet".

WORLD AMATEUR RADIO DAY 2024 ---> Every 18 April,  radio amateurs  worldwide
take to the airwaves  in celebration of  World Amateur Radio Day.  It was on
this day in 1925 that the  International Amateur Radio Union  was formed  in
Paris. IARU has announced that the theme for this year's World Amateur Radio
Day will be  "A Century of Connections: Celebrating 100 years of Amateur Ra-
dio Innovation, Community, and Advocacy".  Announced  special callsigns par-
ticipating in  WARD 2024  include stations from  Bahrain (A91WARD),  Belgium
(OP24WARD  and OR24WARD),  Croatia (9A24WARD),  Cuba (T47R),  Czech Republic
(OL1WARD),  Denmark (5P0WARD), France (TM99WARD), Germany (DA24WARD), Greece
(SZ0WARD), Morocco (CN99HR), Netherlands (PA24WARD), Poland (3Z0WARD), Spain

WORLDWIDE HOLYLAND DX CONTEST (WWHC) ---> The  traditional  Holyland Contest
has become the  Worldwide Holyland DX Contest  since 2023.  Any station any-
where can work any other station for points;  contacts with  4X/4Z  stations
will  attract  more  points. The contest  will  take  place on  19-20 April,
from  21.00  UTC on  Friday  until  20.59 UTC  on Saturday  (24 hours).  See

WRTC 2026: TENT SPONSORSHIP PROGRAMME ---> Details  have been  announced  of
the opportunity to sponsor a tent at WRTC 2026 in the UK:  "we have 50 teams
and therefore 50 tents are available. Of the 50 total tents, 42 of these are
by QA (Qualification Area),  4 for Youth,  1 for the returning Champions,  2
Sponsored and 1 Wildcard".  Tent Sponsorship  applications  will be open  at
