3D2/R  - Darren, VK4MAP will be active holiday style as  3D2RAT from  Rotuma
Island (OC-060) on 13-29 September.  He operates SSB on 80, 40, 20,
15, 12 and 10 metres. QSL direct to home call.


4U1ITU - Several  radio  amateurs  are  part of  the  delegations  currently
involved  in various events at  ITU Geneva  until 29 September.  In
their  spare time they are  QRV  as  4U1ITU from the  International
Amateur Radio Club's station.  QSL  via  LoTW, Club Log's OQRS,  or

4X     - Special stations  4X01G  from  Beit Zeida  (Holyland Square O05HG),
4X02G from Daliyot Forest (Holyland Square P05HG),  4X03G from Rujm
el-Hiri  (Holyland Square O04HG)  and  4X04G  from  Juhader  Stream
(Holyland Square Q05HG) will be active on 22-23 September. QSLs via

A6     - Taking part in the celebrations of  Saudi National Day  (23 Septem-
ber), the Emirates Amateur Radio Society will operate special call-
sign A60ARS on 17-23 September.  QSL via EA7FTR.  Individual opera-
tors may append a serial number to the special callsign, and be QRV
as A60ARS/0, A60ARS/1, etc. (see qrz.com for the QSL routes).


A9     - Also taking part in  the celebrations  of  Saudi National Day,  the
Bahrain Amateur Radio Society will operate special callsign  A91ARS
on 17-23 September. QSL via EC6DX.


DL     - John, AG7N will be active holiday style as  DL/AG7N  from Norderney
Island (EU-047) on  18-23 September.  He will operate mainly on  20

DL     - Markus, DJ4EL will be active as DJ4EL/p from  Pellworm Island  (EU-
042) from 29 September to 4 October. QSL via Club Log's OQRS. Check

E6     - Michael, DF8AN will be active holiday style as E6AJ from  Niue (OC-
040) on 3-10 November.  He will operate CW and digital modes  (FT4,
FT8, RTTY  and hopefully some PSK31)  on the HF bands and 6 metres.
QSL via DF8AN, direct or bureau. He does not use LoTW or Club Log.


FO     - Vincent, K6VVK will be active  holiday style as  FO/K6VVK  from two
French Polynesia islands, namely Moorea (OC-046)  on 25 September-1
October and Rangiroa (OC-066) on 2-6 October.  He will operate SSB,
CW and FT8/FT4 on the HF bands and 6 metres. He will upload his log
to LoTW, eQSL and Club Log; paper QSLs will not be provided.


FW     - Jacky, ZL3CW will be active as  FW2CW  from FW1JG's QTH  on  Wallis
Island (OC-054) on 20-30 November.  He will operate CW only  with a
focus on 30, 17 and 12 metres,  and will also participate in the CQ
WW DX CW Contest as FW5N. QSL via LoTW and Club Log's OQRS. [TNX DX

HZ     - HZ93ND, 7Z93ND and 8Z93ND are  the special callsigns for the  Saudi
Amateur Radio Society (HZ1SAR) to celebrate  Saudi National Day  on
10-25 September. The logs will be uploaded to Club Log. See qrz.com
for more information.  Based on the number  of  lunar years,  Saudi
National Day commemorates  the renaming of the  Kingdom of Nejd and
Hejaz to the Kingdom of  Saudi Arabia (23 September 1932).
Other national societies of Gulf Cooperation Council's neighbouring
countries that might join the celebrations include the  Kuwait Ama-
teur Radio Society as  9K9KSA (QSL via EC6DX),  and the Royal Omani
Amateur Radio Society as A43KSA (QSL via EC6DX)


I      - Members of  ARI Pordenone and ARI Belluno will be active as  II3RDV
on 1-31 October.  The special callsign  memorializes  the  60th an-
niversary of the  Vajont Dam disaster  (9 October 1963, when a mas-
sive landslide plunged into the reservoir, causing a 250-metre high
megatsunami that killed some 2000 people). QSL via IV3EHH.

J8     - Brian, GW4DVB will be active again as J88PI  from Palm Island  (NA-

025)  on  2-10 October.  Usually he operates  SSB, SSTV and FT8  on
40,  20, 17,  15, 10 and 6 metres.  QSL direct  to  home call  (see

JD1_oga- Kou, JP1IHD will be active again as JD1BQP from Chichijima (AS-031)
Ogasawara from 26 October to 2 November,  including an entry in the
CQ WW DX SSB Contest. QSL via the bureau to JD1BQP,  or direct only
to JP1IHD; he will upload his log to LoTW and Club Log.


OZ     - Dieter, DF2SD will be active as OV9R from Fano Island (EU-125)  and
Nationalpark Vadehavet  between  16 and 30 September,  including an
entry in the  CQ WW RTTY DX Contest.  QSL via Club Log's OQRS, LoTW
and eQSL.
PJ2    - Gabor, HA3JB will be active as PJ2/HA3JB  from Curacao (SA-099)  on
16-26 September.  He will operate  CW, SSB, FT8 and RTTY  on 80-6m,
and  will participate in the  CQ WW RTTY DX Contest.  QSL direct to
home call (OQRS on https://www.ha3jb.com/oqrs.html).


SM     - Frank, DH0JAE will be active again as  SM/DH0JAE  from  Hano Island
(EU-138) on 19-24 September.  He will operate CW and SSB on the  HF

E51D --- > Started on 22 August, the DXpedition went QRT  on 8 September  at
18.23 UTC.  Using the RIB (Radio In a Box) system,  nearly 57,000 QSOs  were
made  on all bands  from 160 to 10 metres,  on FT8 (47.24%), CW (46.51%) and

three stations on the air, one locally operated and two remotely operated.

EARLY ANNOUNCEMENT: LESOTHO ---> Following  on  from  the success  of  9N7EI
(2017), 7Q7EI (2018), 5V7EI (2019) and V26EI (2023), the EI DX Group will be
active as  7P8EI  from Lesotho in early 2024.  A 15-men team will operate on
all bands and modes. QSL via M0OXO's OQRS.  Complete details are expected in
due course.

GB4PVM ---> Paul, G4PVM was active as GB4PVM from St Mary's, Isles of Scilly
(EU-011) on  10-15 September.  QSL via LoTW and eQSL;  in addition,  he will
upload his log to  Club Log for  IOTA QSO matching.  Paper cards will not be
available.

QSL VIA EA5GL ---> Pedro, EA5GL has picked up the QSLing for AT7SJ  from St.

QSL VIA IT9EJW ---> Alfio, IT9EJW  has announced that  all direct cards  for
the late XE2AA's IOTA tour (XF2C NA-135,  XF3O NA-090,  XF3M NA-045 and XF3H
NA-045) have been  mailed out.  All remaining  QSOs  will  be  automatically
confirmed via the bureau this month.
